Paladins were primarily healers in the original World of Warcraft. They become a more diversified class in the Burning Crusade Classic expansion, and they will play important roles in groups and raids as tank, healer, or melee. It was still severely restricted in World of Warcraft Classic due to the outdated talents and a lack of paladin tank equipment, but it has grown into a strong and versatile tank with the best surface threat in Outland.

Phase 2 has no official start date, but based on our experience with World of Warcraft Classic, we anticipate it will begin on August 15th and end on October 29th.

Phase 3 will include the raids Battle for Mount Hyjal (25 men) and Black Temple (25 men), as well as the third season of the Arena, which will provide plenty of action for both raiders and PVPers.

Phase 4 will include Zul'Aman (10 men) and will provide an opportunity for players who have had less time to play to make up ground. This phase will not include a new arena season for Blizzard's commentary, which has been the case thus far.

Currently, we anticipate that this phase will begin around January 15th and conclude on March 30th.

Among the areas included in Phase 5 will be Quel'Danas (an area), Magister's Terrace (5 men), and Sunwell Plateau (25 men).

This massive final phase will most likely begin around March 31 and will last until we assume that World of Warcraft Classic Wrath of the Lich King is revealed and begins with its pre-patch.
