I'm considering buying an Cannon. However, I'm not aware of OSRS GP much about them, other than what that dwarf told me at the end of his quest. I saw a person employing one against a swarm of Ogres that were west of Yanille this morning. It's a good idea, but I'm trying to figure out if there's many restrictions on the areas where it could be used making it pretty useless most of the time. Is it possible to use it to play pvp with wildness? Most likely not...

First, do you know how things you drop "evaporate" within a couple of minutes? Does the same thing happen to the cannon? I.e. in the event that you put it up and let it continue to shoot does it disappear within a short time? Does a cannon have certain rules that ensure it doesn't disintegrate and will remain until the owner takes it up again?

Additionally, if you play RS for more than an one or two hours at a time, you can think about the server breaking and forcing you to connect to another world. Do you lose your cannon should this happen? Is it possible to obtain a new one at no cost from the mining camp to the north of Fally?

Also, if you die or pass away, does the cannon be kept in the spot you placed it so it is possible to return and find it? Or , does it go to the gravestone? Or do you lose it? Will the cannon be replaced free of charge by that dwarf? However, what is the best way to ensure that?

This may be too difficult a question to answer but let's try it anyway: how many cannonballs would I require for the 87-99 Slayer? I'm sure this is complicated, so even an estimate that is close to fifty or cheap OSRS gold 25K could be great. I'd like to find out, since I'm planning to order all my cannonballs now and have come to the conclusion it will save me money in the long term.
