The upcoming 2.4 patch will bring about significant changes to the game's gameplay and skills, as well as the start of a new ladder season! Changes to the Gameplay in General

The following is a list of the most significant changes that will take place soon:

Weapons with a large number of stacks will have their quality of life improved, resulting in better performance for ranged builds. It will now be possible to stack up to 500 bows and arrows, and throwing weapons will benefit from an increase of 50% in stack size.

While your character is performing a pre-cast animation of a skill, blocking attacks will no longer be effective. For the post-cast animation, blocking will continue to be in effect.

The attack speed of dual-wielding characters will be calculated using a new method. Because swapping weapons between hands will no longer have a significant impact on attack speed, the weapon swap trick will no longer be effective.

Players will see diminishing returns from faster hit recovery as the game progresses. This change will only be applicable in PvP situations.

Changes in Skill

Amazon Skills: The Impale's attacking skill is now uninterruptible and will always hit the intended target, unlike previously.

It will also cause the target to move more slowly.

The attack speed of the Fend will be doubled.

All of the power strikes, such as Power Strike, Charged Strike, and Lightning Strike, will have their synergies altered.

The damage dealt by the Poison Javelin will be adjusted.

Plague Javelin will receive a synergy boost, will have a fixed duration of 3 seconds, and will be able to be cast once every second.

The Radius of Inner Sight will be increased by 35%.

Slow Missiles will also benefit from a 35% increase in radius, a reduction in ranged enemy attack damage, and the ability to scale with additional skill point expenditure.

The casting delay of Valkyrie has been reduced to 0.6 second.

Avoiding an attack will no longer prevent D2R ladder items from casting a special ability.

Avoid is no longer a barrier to using a skill in your current state.

The mana cost of the Freezing Arrow will be halved.

The magic damage dealt by the Magic Arrow will be increased.

The damage dealt by the Guided Arrow will be increased.

Strafe will deal more damage and will have a significant increase in attack speed.

The mana cost of the Fire Arrow will remain constant.

In addition to dealing more damage, its mana cost has been halved, and its synergy has been increased.

The fire damage dealt by Immolation Arrows per second will be doubled, while the mana cost will be halved.

Fist of Fire, one of the Assassin's skills, will have a significantly higher attack rating bonus.

The attack rating bonus for Claws of Thunder will be significantly higher.

Blades of ice will have a significantly higher bonus to their attack rating.

Tiger Strike will have a significantly higher bonus to attack rating.

Each attack from Dragon Talon will only consume one charge, and it will always hit the target as long as there is a charge left in the tank.

The duration of Venom will be increased by threefold.

Grim Ward will slow enemies, increase their damage, and gain a new synergy as a result of this effect.

Throws will have a chance to penetrate the defense.

The minimum distance of a leap will be increased by 75%, and the speed of motion will be increased by 75%.

Changes will be made to Fire Claw's damage and synergy effects.

Oak Sage's life will now be restored, and he will also gain a 25% increase in physical damage resistance.

The heart of Wolverine's life will now be repaired, and he will be able to withstand 25% more physical damage.

Spirit Of Barbs's life will now be restored, and he will gain a 25% increase in physical damage resistance. When hit, it will no longer deal damage back to the player, instead dealing a fixed amount of damage.

Raven's mechanics will be significantly altered; its damage will be increased, and it will also have a higher attack rating.

The summoned Spirit Wolf will receive an increase in both life and damage.

Summon Dire Wolf will gain more life and damage as a result of this.

Summon Grizzly will gain an additional life point.

Poison Creeper will gain more life and damage as a result of this buff.

The life recovery of Carrion Wine will increase by 1% for every level reached.

The mana recovery of Solar Creeper will increase by 1% per level gained.

Necromancer Skills: Skeletal Mages will see a significant increase in damage.

The life and damage of the Blood Golem will both be increased.

Thorns will no longer have any effect on the Iron Golem.

The holy fire level scaling of the Fire Golem will be doubled.

Bone Armor will now absorb 15 additional damage per level, rather than the previous 10 damage.

The damage done by Bone Spear will be slightly increased as a result of the synergy.

The damage done by Bone Spirit will be slightly increased as a result of the synergy.

Weaken's damage reduction will now scale with the player's level by 1% per level.

Holy Fire, one of the Paladin's skills, will deal more damage.

Thorns Aura will no longer return damage, and instead will deal a single, fixed amount of damage to the target.

The amount of damage done to oneself by sacrifice will be reduced.

The chance that a conversion will convert cap will be increased from 50% to 90%.

Targets will be pierced by Holy Bolt, and their damage will be increased.

The casting delay for Fist of Heavens will be reduced from 1 second to 0.4 second.

Frost Nova's damage will be increased as a result of this change.
