In addition to the "daily dordles," there is a "free dordle" mode in which you can play as much as you want. It works the same way, presenting you with two words to guess in seven attempts or less. One fan even went so far as to open two dordles at once, resulting in a "Quadordle" puzzle.

Another significant difference between dordle and its inspiration is the ease with which you can "social cheat" the game. In Wordle, returning to the game's page after completing the day's puzzle displays your previous guesses. That is not the case in dordle, which means you could easily win the game in just two guesses by returning after your first attempt.

Because you're attempting to guess two words at once, you'll have seven chances instead of the usual five. Guilherme Tows from Zaratustra Productions describes his game as "wordle plus wordle." Zaratustra Productions' other titles include a backwards Tetris browser game, additional puzzlers, browser-based platformers, and more.
