Cryptbloom's release was anticipated greatly because OSRS Gold when combined with Animate Dead it allowed players with little experience with PvM an extra amount of freedom to confront bosses. After a few months, it was redesigned so that, when combined with Revo rotations, a significant amount of the content can be hard AFK'd without participation from the players.
I'm not totally against it because as technology has improved over time, the capability to complete content efficiently has always improved. Cryptbloom however has taken this development out of balance and actually hindering the growth of the overall player base with their ability to engage in PvM. It's possible to tank Telos with a soaring 300-400% in Cryptbloom with much difficulty. It's a boss which since forever is the test of the abilities of PvM.
People who are using Cryptbloom in order to defeat bosses by using PVMe's optimal Revo rotations do not know anything about the combat system, its intricate details, and the way it functions. Thus, moving from AFK on GW2 to another content has become much more challenging than it was in the past.
What is the result? Many are complaining about the bosses in the endgame and the lack of accessibility , but they don't take the time to know how the combat system functions outside of an AFK rotation. This Reddit in the last few months is now so full of people complaining about their inability to complete AoD/Solak/Vorago. Comments from people who complain that their bosses are too hard or that they're too hard to learn.
I'm willing to bet that if Cryptbloom were released before Raksha, nobody would have complained causing the Raksha's DPS to be reduced. The bossing aspect of Runescape has become too easy as content is seemingly more and more tailored to Cryptbloom users ignoring the majority of mechanics as it's put them in god mode.
Please Jagex. Once you have released that final EGWD boss make Cryptbloom nonfeasible. The animate dead should not be able to work within the boss. Encourage people to learn how to actually PvM. It will make a huge difference in future content being actually used without complaints or being chucked immediately into the "too difficult" basket.
I'm sure to be flamed for this blog post and have been downvoted to oblivion, but it has to be cheap RS gold acknowledged. Cryptbloom has completely destroyed RuneScape.
