By now, you Buy Dune Awakening Solari know two things about Jasmium in Dune: Awakening:

  1. It’s only found in Sheol, the irradiated wasteland of the Hagga Basin.

  2. You need specialized gear to even survive there (as we covered in the last blog).

But surviving is only half the battle. Once you’re in Sheol, you’ll need to navigate its hostile terrain, identify Jasmium nodes quickly, and extract before radiation—or rival players—takes you out. This blog focuses on practical strategies to maximize your runs and minimize your deaths.

Understanding Sheol’s Layout

Sheol isn’t a flat desert. It’s a fractured landscape filled with hazards that both hide and reveal Jasmium nodes. Knowing the topography gives you an edge.

  • Southwest Entry Point: The safest approach is from the 7–8 o’clock position on the map. This path has fewer obstructions and lets you land your Ornithopter just outside heavy radiation zones.

  • Craters: The heart of Sheol is littered with massive craters. These are hotspots for Jasmium nodes, but they’re also highly irradiated. Enter cautiously, and don’t linger.

  • Rocky Outcrops: Jasmium tends to spawn in jagged rock formations. If you see uneven terrain with green or bluish pools nearby, you’re in the right spot.

  • Irradiated Pools: These glowing ponds are markers. While dangerous, they often signal that you’re near a cluster of crystals.
