Taking traditional Irish as his or her starting point, the pair blended elegant, minimal elements – including cherry blossom and candles – into the beautiful, historic backdrop of Ballymagarvey (filled with secret bar) to produce a day filled with romance, fun, and magic.

"I am from Ireland and Adam comes from England but Irish weddings are simply the best so Ireland needed to be the destination. We fell deeply in love with Ballymagarvey Village, the staff, and also the food. I remember thinking, ‘This place is breathtaking. With a banquet hall of dreams along with a secret bar, we knew this was our place. We decided in the early stages that we wanted our wedding to become romantic and chilled having a big dash of fun."

"I have always embraced my curves which dress suited me well. When I put this dress on I knew it had been the one. There is also something quite romantic in regards to a sleeve!"

"The bridesmaids traveled there inside a Bentley. When I was younger I loved camper vans so, as a surprise, my mum hired a VW Camper van that was my 'something old."

Carrie and Adam met at university in Newcastle and also the groom proposed after nine many years of coupledom.

"We met within our second year on a night out inside a cheesy nightclub. Adam texted me the following day to see if I fancied a date to the cinema therefore we went to watch 'P.S. I Love You'. I suggested the following date; rock climbing! Needless to say, I would be a much better climber, and he was clearly impressed. The rest is history. In December 2016 we visited New York."

"On our first day, it snowed, and we rushed to Central Park. Adam had the ring in their pocket and was likely to propose but he got too scared and spent five days traveling New York using it. Finally, around the last night, we went nighttime shopping on Fifth Avenue, then skating in Central Park." Here

"Afterwards, Adam desired to go towards the Bethesda Fountain where he got recorded on one knee within the snow and popped the question. It was very 'Miracle On 34th Street' (only I said yes!) that is my favorite childhood movie, so he did well. We celebrated with dinner and cocktails."

The bride's bouquet seemed to be styled by and would be a riot of leaves and full-blown roses.

"I love eucalyptus also it wasn't really in the season but Jonny from Arbour Blooms explained he might get some blue eucalyptus and combine it with David Austin Roses. They just looked perfect. I wanted the bouquets to become quite big and white roses are my absolute favorite."

I love the story behind this beautiful wedding cake, draped with full-blown roses.

"The cake was quite special for all of us and I designed it with a few small gold shamrocks. I desired to tie within the Irish theme around I could but additionally wanted to ensure that it stays quite classy."

"My brother Darragh, who is simply thirteen, decided he desired to save all his pocket money and purchase the cake for all of us as a marriage present that was just adorable. We chose this cake together. It would be a three-tier cake (chocolate, lemon, and red velvet) called the nicest cake we have ever tasted."

The evening reception was full-on Irish fun, having a proper Irish dance to music after an intimate first dance.

"Irish Dancing the nighttime away with our friends and family and seeing everyone smiling and laughing was among my favorite moments."
