By the time I wrapped my 100th Tormented Andariel run, I felt like I’d been swimming in poison for days. The goal was pretty simple – get my hands on some Uber Uniques, since her loot’s basically the same as Duriel’s. You go in knowing it’s all up to RNG, so it’s a mix of hope and resignation. Somewhere around run 22, I finally saw the first big win – Harlequin Crest. That rush is hard to beat. Then, run 52 rolls around and... another Harlequin Crest. You can probably guess how that felt. Still, it wasn’t all bad – run 85 gave me Melted Heart of Selig, and just before the finish line at run 97, the shiny new Tyrael’s Might dropped. That one made the grind feel worth it. Honestly, it’s moments like those that make you forget how many Diablo 4 gold mats you’ve sunk into these runs.
Outside of the Ubers, her regular uniques were practically raining. Godslayer Crowns and Tassets of the Dawning Sky came so often I stopped counting. They’re everywhere. Doombringers and The Grandfather were way less common – picked up two of the former and just one of the latter. Even if you’re not in it purely for the top-tier loot, you’ll walk away with gear that’s solid for alts or testing a new build. It’s nice not feeling like every run is a waste just because you didn’t hit the jackpot.
Doing the math, my Uber drop rate sat at about four percent across the 100 runs. That’s better than the two percent rate most folks talk about, but it felt streaky. Long dry patches with nothing worth keeping, then suddenly two big drops in quick succession. That’s the gamble – you could nail it on run one, or be stuck grinding forever. Feels great when luck’s in, but you’ve got to be ready for those soul-crushing gaps where she gives you absolutely nothing.
If you’re thinking about farming her in Season 11, it’s worth it as long as you’re ready for the usual RNG heartbreak. She’s quicker and less annoying than Duriel, so the loop doesn’t drag as much. Yeah, the mats cost adds up, but her speed makes it more bearable. If you’ve got your eyes on Shako, Tyrael’s Might, or any of the other big names, she’s a solid bet. Just go in knowing it’s going to test your patience – and when you do finally see that drop, it’s one of the best feelings in the game. That new angelic chest piece is going straight on, and I’m calling it a day… at least until I’m tempted back, because let’s be honest, chasing Diablo 4 Items for sale never really ends.
