Investigating
To begin the OSRS King's Ransom quest you have to speak with Gossip in front of the Sinclair Mansion, just northwest of Camelot Castle. After accusing Anna Sinclair as the murderer, Gossip will inform you that the Sinclair family fled and have since gone.

However, this may not be the same person you proved to be guilty in Murder Mystery. Gossip will reveal that one of the family members provided new evidence that proves Anna's guilt. He will explain that King Arthur, his knights, and their families vanished simultaneously with the family's departure.

You will begin the quest by deciding to conduct an investigation. Go through the gate and with the guard. He suspects that because Lord Sinclair gave King Arthur the castle, the disappearances may be part of a bigger plan to reclaim Camelot.

The guard will explain that the Seers' Council prohibited anyone from entering Sinclair Mansion or Camelot to investigate and will then forward the details of the investigation to you. Cut the window close to the dog fence to the north-east of the mansion.
Once you're inside, head to the dining area. In your mini-map, you will see a circle of red in the northeast corner. There is an unfinished piece of paper on the floor. Make your way towards it, and then leave the dining room. Move up to the second level and go into the library.

Find the address form on the table, which was never filled out to prove that the Sinclairs left for good, and never intended to tell anyone about where they were going. Go to the western bookcase and you'll find an helm of black knights. Do not forget to read the address and scraps of paper.

Take a step down and exit the house through the window you broke and by right-clicking the window and click on "break" to take you outside to the guard. Present all three pieces of evidence to the guard. The guard will say that there is sufficient evidence to show bad intentions towards King Arthur.

He says that since the applicant must follow certain procedure, he'll need to wait a month before giving evidence. You can offer to steer clear of bureaucracy. He will then suggest you study more about the Sinclair family history, suggesting that town gossips know much about history.

Speak to Gossip and you'll be presented with three possible questions to ask him. Ask each of them to learn more about the Sinclair story. Speak with Anna in the Seers' Village courthouse located to the south-east of the bank. Anna will reveal that the man who murdered her was the person she is suspicious of.

Ask her where her family has gone but she will not reveal it to you unless she helps to obtain a not guilty verdict during the trial. The criminal's trail you found in Murder Mystery will be handed to Anna. Anna could suggest that her staff members could be witnesses for her in her defense.

The Trial
Step down the steps in the courthouse, and then the trial begins. In the course of trial, you will summon witnesses to appear before the judge and ask questions of the witness through talking to witnesses. It is your responsibility to prove the evidence that you have been given in order to get a not guilty verdict. The butler should be called and question him regarding the dagger.

Contact the dog handler to inquire for information about the poison. Call the maid, and inquire about what she saw on the night before the murder. Then, call any number and ask about the thread to complete the case to defend. The judge will close the trial and ask for the jury to render a verdict. Anna will not be convicted by the jury.

Enter the gate to exit the courtroom and talk to Anna in her cell. She will go back to being rude but will guide you on how to get into Camelot. The statue can be found in front of the temple located on the east of Camelot Castle.

You will now see a cutscene of Anna talking to David. Both siblings are responsible for Lord Sinclair's death and plotted to trap you. They'll inform you that they are not trying to help. Morgan Le Faye, along with her team, will suddenly appear and knock your out.

In a Jail
After being knocked out by Morgan Le Faye, you are thrown into prison along with Arthur's Knights and Merlin. Talk to Merlin and he'll explain that King Arthur was transformed into an imposing granite statue, and then removed by the Black Knights.

The Sinclairs as well as Morgan Le Faye have teamed together to take down Arthur and take back Camelot castle. The black knights also been willing to assist Morgan Le Faye and the Sinclairs. Merlin will also reveal that Morgan Le Faye is the person who stole the Holy Gracious.

Ask Merlin for advice and follow the options for conversation. There is vents on the northern wall. Left-click on the vent. This will trigger the cutscene, which will show Merlin fleeing with the help all the knights, building the pyramid that allows him to access the vent.

Contact the knights and ask them if there is anything you can do to help them escape. There will be a variety of stuff from them, however the most important thing you can get from them is the lockpick. To escape the knights, you can use the lockpick to unlock the door in the metal.
Telekinetic Grab is a tool that can be used to grab a lockpick from knights. Telekinetic Grab can also be used on guards fixing their hair outside of the cell to secure an clip. Use the clip on the metal door. To open the lock, you must solve a puzzle for this. To complete the puzzle, you must adjust each of the four tumblers to the proper size.

This is the most secure method. Set all tumblers to 5 inches and put them in lock. Do not alter a tumbler if it displays a green circular. Ignore blue and red circles. To make the tumblers taller, increase their height by one and then try again.
Continue until the lock is unlocked. This process will require up to six times. Once you have successfully unlocked the door, you'll be in the ground floor of Keep Le Faye. You can now climb the stairs to reach the top floor.

To answer the puzzle look up the table, then select Show riddle. Then choose the container which contains the holy prize. The correct box is the round purple one to the right, second last box, if you count from left to right.

King Arthur King Arthur
The final part of this mission is to free King Arthur from his stone prison. To accomplish this, you'll need to visit the Wizard Cromperty East Ardougne. The building will be identified by the blue tiles you see on the mini-map.

Go to the wizard inside the castle and he'll provide you with an animated rock scroll which you'll need to use on King Arthur when you've got the holy grail as well as some granite in your possession.

You will also need a bronze med helmet, iron chainbody and black platebody. Visit the Black Knights' Fortress, east of Edgeville/northern Ice Mountain. You will need to equip the chain, helm and then go through the gates of the guards to enter the Black Knights Fortress.

Put on your black armour and push the wall in front of the guards' doors. If you don't have full black armour, you won't be able to move the wall. Go down the ladder and you will see King Arthur's statue. You can also choose the free option.
Speak with King Arthur and give him the iron chainbody as well as the bronze med-helm guard uniform. To complete the quest, return to Camelot to meet King Arthur at his castle.
